The Not So Good Side
As far as I can see there are two main negative things about this system. Firstly, it should not be used by people who have dark brown or black skin due to the high levels of pigment in these types of complexion. The skin sensor safety feature on the silkn will determine if your skin colour is suitable and will not enable treatment if your skin is too dark or too tanned.
The other negative aspect is that it does take quite a lot of time to achieve a permanent result. It will take about 4 treatments before you see a noticeable result and each treatment should be done two weeks apart. So you are basically looking at at least 6 weeks before the effects are visible. For some people, this may be too long to wait.
